8th January 2010 - Black Friday!!

What ever you want to call it...it wasn't a good day for Malaysians! No thanks to UMNO for politicizing the issue of "Allah", which stirred up the mess in the Klang Valley. 4 churches were fire bombed, 1 badly burnt! Never before we Christians and any other Malaysians of other faith ever witness such....only after more than 50 years of independence!!

Is our society's civilization in reverse gear mode? I would think the answer is 'yes', no thanks to those people we have running the country! They are more concern on engineering the society than bringing the country forward!

Coming back to the topic, this incident brought us together closer than never before, condemn in one voice. Facing persecution is nothing new to our faith, but we must not be easily run into. Up to this time, 3 more churches been minorly attacked...our local cops can't really guarantee our safety, citing lack of manpower!! What bull shit is that? Just an excuse from the IGP to cover his own ass, in case more and more incident happening!!

1Malaysia campaign took another blow and Lord knows what more to come!! May God bless us all and Malaysia (does not include BN)!!

A Major Change

Yes...2 months back I made a big decision, whereby I not only left my previous company, but the industry as a whole. I received good blessings and criticism as well prior to my departure! Thank God, I m with an MNC now, though there is now great to shout about! But still I deserve it! Fuji Xerox is an IT related company, so I have no complaint about it! To me the building materials industry is not that suitable for me!!

Got this toy during Raya'08...its an ASUS P750 PDA phone. My first of a kind!! Find it very useful, as it put almost my entire office in it!! Portable Windows in it as well!! Only problem...system hangs at time!!

Was once my favorite daily, still remember have a dose of it every morning before school and work. However, this year alone, it has a dissappointing one for me!! Its news have become more and more pro - BN. Having said so, I find its reporting and news layout are completely rubbish. Why is that? Certain "major news" that affect our society and political scenario have been played down as to avoid the ruling government officials to "lose face". The Star has indeed been a sell out and became the government's propaganda machine!! I have been avoiding reading that peace of junk since early this year, and I encouraged my friends to do the same, especially, we now have alternatives on the web: Malaysiakini etc.

A Successful Failure at Beijing Olympics!!

Winning just a silver medal in the recent Olympics is just a mere consolation, rather than a great achievement, as championed by the Barisan Najis led government!! Come on!! We deserve to do better...we have the world class sporting facilities....yet we just came back with just one medal!! Something is real wrong with our sports governing body....just look at our football (FAM) lar!! Now manage by "Kera Jantan" Khairy, some more worst!! May God continue to bless our atheletes and put the relevant useless authorities to judgement!!

Yes, I am back again to blog after a couple of months break...tell you the truth I am just an occasional blogger...doing it just for fun! Anyhow, was at Port Dickson's Glory Beach Resort last weekend (17/5 - 19/5), attending SMAGOW 2008 (SMACC's church camp). Wasn't too bad though, did pick some points from it. Accomodation wise, not too bad. Food...didn't taste that good but acceptable! Surroundings wasn't that bad either...but hope that the resort's management people will get tough on some swimming guests, who prefer to walk all their way back to their unit in wet and soaked attire, creating a wet trail from the swimming pool to the apartment block's elevator. Frust to see that there are still numerous uncivic minded people!! Anyhow, I will still give a satisfactory "thumbs up" to SMAGOW 2008!! Good job to the organizing com!!

Malaysia Decided 2008 - A New Hope

March 8th 2008 was the day I voted for the second time in the general election as a Malaysian. Waited anxiously for the result during the evening, have myself logged on to Malaysiakini website and the TV news on at the same time. The local news media on TV were a dissappointing lot!! Not updating us citizens quick enough, making biased reports and carried out "chicken style" reporting, in fear that it will caused nationwide panic. Thanks to Malaysiakini for their live updates. By almost 4am of the 9th, it was confirmed that the Opps have denied BN 2/3 majority in Parliament, and also gained control on 5 states!! What a fantastic result, after weeks of hearing gossips at the streets, reading blogs and campaigns on the net and laughing at BN's propaganda being posted widely on the local media. I was indeed proven wrong on my previous blog "Desperate BN". Yes, they were somewhat desperate in saving some of themselves during vote count. The postal votes could have retained some of the familiar faces, but not enough to save some of the key figures, like....you know who lar!! Anyways, congrats to the Opps for the surprise and may your state governance be gracious one! As for BN, congrats to you as well, for still being our federal government. Lets see what comedies you have installed for us for the next 4-5 years!

1. They have been ruling for the past 50 years!! Boring lar!!
2. They spoilt the "Balance of Power" system, by meddling into the Judiciary branch as well.
3. They control the mainstream media, which suppress professional and transparent journalism.
4. They made the police force to look more like their bodyguards, ie. suppressing peaceful rally by BERSIH, HINDRAF and lawyers.
5. NEP still exists despite achieving its objectives and condemned those who questioned it!
6. Component parties like MIC, MCA, Gerakan are UMNO's "yes men".
7. Opposition may not have sufficient track record, therefore they deserve an opportunity.
8. Federal funds wasted on programs like Space Tourism, proposing overseas sports training complex, rebranding Mat Rempit!!
9. They disallowed oppositions to do street demos & gatherings, but they themselves can gather to even burn flags of other nations!
10. The past 4 years sucks!! Too bad that some people didn't remember much about it!!

Finally, the race to Parliament and State Assemblies are on!! The announcement and nominations have been made, now the candidates to campaign and the voters to decide. I will be voting for the second time, and I will stick back to my decision made 4 years back. The "Barisan Rakyat" will have a stronger case this time round, fielding better candidates than previous. BN candidates trying to rebrand itself and swiftly cleaning their image through various unfair means, like controlling the mainstream media. BN knows that they will still win, but we will try to increase the presence of Opposition in the Parliament and State Assemblies, as they will serve as "defenders of justice" to frustrate the ruling party!! It is very difficult to deny BN 2/3 majority, as most of their key candidates are contesting in rural areas, which they find it easier to lobby, as opposed to lobbying in urban areas. Come March 8th, hope to see BN being upset at several areas!!

50 years of independent Malaysia, which is also the number of years been rule by the BN coalition government. Yet I feel things are getting worst off in the political arena. The ruling party is using the mainstream media to be the national propaganda. As we enter the cyber age, we get to read news of the "other" side, thanks to website like "Malaysiakini". With the upcoming general election, BN is desperate to keep the 2/3 majority. Will they be able to achieve it again? Yes, definitely. By vote rigging, of course. Its nothing new....whatever the oppositions try to do to stop it, they were always labelled as the bad guys. Myself began to open up my mind, begin to see that BN is just like a ruling dynasty, attempting to make money for themselves and their cronies! We the rakyat suffer, and being accused of not being patriotic! What the fuck then!! Definition of patriotic is to love the country, not necessary to respect the leaders and the government! I wish BN all the best this coming general election, see what gimmick you guys have this time. Oppositions, give your best, I know the time will come one day!! Rakyat, free your mind from the oppression of the local media airing propagandas!!

My PC Gaming Adventure

I have been a PC Gamer for more than 10 years, 13 years to be exact. For the past few months, noticed that the weekly gaming hours are getting shorter and shorter!! Why? Timing is one factor. Didn't spend much time at home nowadays. After work, head on to gym, cell meeting and sometimes socializing around. Once got home, net surfing or watching satellite television. Second factor: the tides has changed as well. Most ppl talked about MMORPG games, which isn't that bad to my liking, but requires time and money as well! Furthermore, not much interesting title these days (while waiting for Starcraft 2). Still can recall those great gaming days back during college and university days. Really hate to see it go come one day! Anyhow, would like to list down my all time Top 10 favorites:
